I Am in Love with I Am The Juice Place

Being a local influencer in Dallas, most of my events are centered around food and cocktails. Not that I am complaining by any means, but sometimes I do start to feel sluggish and need to do something good for my body. The juicing revolution is here and people are falling hard for it!

Ana Jones, originally from Mexico, obtained her degree in Nutrition Science and soon after fell in love with the holistic side of nutrition. Also a certified yoga teacher, she has a passion for letting people know how to nourish the body from the inside out while incorporating positive affirmations to shift the mind into making healthier choices. Customers can walk into her store and have a fresh juice made for them of choose from any that were already made that day. She strives for an excellent experience at each visit and encourages questions! Her biggest hurdle are common misconceptions regarding juicing. Her advice: Don’t believe everything you read online and don’t be afraid to ask questions!

Personally, I had never “juiced” let alone done a juice cleanse so I felt anxious and excited to see what all the buzz was about. For one day I consumed only juices from I Am The Juice Place. Each day consists of 6 juices in a specific order to help cleanse the body, organs, and mind, ridding you of toxins and providing essential nutrients for optimal functionality while boosting energy. Sounds like a lot, right? I know, I had the same notion. My main concern was there was no way I would make it only drinking juice! Surprisingly, I did and it was so much , easier that I could have imagined!

I Picked up my juice pack the day before I started my cleanse as to not put it off another day! The day of, I just grabbed my juices and off to work I went.

My first juice was I Am Vital, which is a potent detoxifier and anti-inflammatory that promotes energy and a healthy heart. I am perfect the way I am is the message, which we should all be saying to ourselves every day. This juice was sweet and spicy and made me feel energized and ready to take on the day!

Ingredients: Turmeric, Lemon, Ginger, Apple, ACV, Honey, Cayenne, and Water.

Juice #2 was appropriately named, I Am Love. One of my reasons for wanting to learn more about juicing was to be  more in tune with my body and focusing on loving myself. A lesson I think we all can benefit from. This juice also has anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties and adds antioxidants. If you’re a beet lover you will gulp this down no problem! It’s got an earthy taste with hints of acidity.

Ingredients: Beet, Carrot, Apple, Ginger, and Lemon

The third juice in the pack is I Am Wild, which is such a fun name for a juice right?! I loved this one because it’s got a kick to it while promoting heart health and more anti-inflammatory agents.

Ingredients: Cucumber, Kale, Apple, Lemon, Ginger, Jalapeno, and Salt

All right, I’m halfway through my juice cleanse and am feeling great! One thing to remember is to also drink plenty of water throughout the day in addition to the juices. I know, sounds like a lot, but you’re doing this to cleanse the body. The answer to the question in your head it yes! You will take more restroom breaks today then you probably ever have!

Now being local influencer in Dallas, I am always on the go. I rarely even have groceries at home, that’s how little I eat in. One of the reasons I loved juicing was because everything was prepared for me. I was able to grab my last three juices and a cold pack and hit the road while staying on track.

Juice 4 was probably my favorite and had my favorite message. I Am Bliss has the affirmation of being the source of your own happiness. I can’t think of a more loving words to say to yourself. So much in our lives is in our control, we just have recognize it. One of my happy places is anywhere I can see the Dallas skyline! In addition to the usual benefits, this juice also aids in digestion.

Ingredients: Pineapple, Cucumber, Apple, Celery, and Lemon

Second to last one and surprisingly I haven’t felt hungry. I did, however, feel a tad nauseous. I think my body was in shock from all the goodness it was getting and just wasn’t sure how to respond. I snacked on a handful of almonds and felt perfectly fine.

Juice #5 is I Am Abundance and encourages us to feel happy in all aspects of our lives. I actually drank this one while watching a play! Of all the juices this one was the most challenging for me. It’s full of greens and again, I’m just not accustomed to it, so it was slightly hard for me but I made it!

Ingredients: Kale, Cucumber, Collards, Parsley, Ginger, and Lemon

The end of the cleanse concludes with I Am Truth, a homemade almond milk. It;s so filling and protein packed that I couldn’t finish the whole bottle. I made a smoothie the next morning with the leftover and it was so good!

Ingredients: Almonds, Raw Sugar, Vanilla, Salt, and Filtered Water

I made it through the cleanse feeling happy that I was nourishing my mind and body and would highly recommend I Am The Juice Place to anyone who is considering incorporating juicing into their lifestyle. Remember to ask questions and listen to your body!

A few things to keep in mind while juicing:

  • Refrain from strenuous activity
  •  If you feel hungry, EAT
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Get 6-8 hours of sleep per night

I received juices in exchange for my review. All opinions are mine.
