Fistful of Bourbon Launches in Texas!

If y’all know anything at all about me it’s that I am a bourbon girl through and through so when a new one hits the market, I’m all over it! Let’s get one thing straight, I’m far from an easy sell and am quite particular about flavor profiles. Luckily part of my job is to attend events where I am able to not only taste a product but also become familiar with the story behind it. This allows me the opportunity to become a passionate ambassador or politely say thank you as I leave. The good news here is that I kinda fell head over boots for Fistful of Bourbon!

Maybe it’s the cowboy silhouette or the fact that it launched in Texas or that there’s a female whiskey blender behind it. Or maybe it’s because it’s a damn good bourbon. Let’s go with the latter (even though the above-mentioned reasons are valid).

So what makes this product so special and different from others on the same aisle at the liquor store? Well for starters let’s talk about the name, Fistful. What is a fist but five independent components coming together to create something bold? That’s exactly what William Grant & Sons expert blenders, Brian Kinsman and Kelsey McKechnie did. They went around the U.S. sampling hundreds of straight bourbons until they found their fab five which created the perfect balance of complimentary flavors. It’s balanced and sweet; green, leafy floral notes; soft spices and hints of nutmeg; buttery toffee; cinnamon and licorice.

Fistful of Bourbon retails for around $24.99 for a 750ml and is 45% ABV.
