After 11 years of living in Dallas I finally went to the Hard Rock Cafe! Conveniently located in downtown Dallas within walking distance of the American Airlines Center and hot spots, it’s an ideal stop for tourists and residents alike.
We were seated at a booth which had a TV screen playing music videos from Rhianna to Journey. This is such a fun feature! I may have found myself dancing along in my seat while trying the Air Mexico margarita flight. Chips and salsa accompany your choice of three mini margaritas featuring Avion Silver Tequila. I went for the Cucumber, Wild Berry, and Mango, all of which made my dance moves much cooler!
Two of my favorites were combined in the Irish Mule. Jameson Irish Whiskey and Ginger Beer served in a Hard Rock Cafe collectible mason jar and garnished with fresh limes.
One of the more popular appetizers are the Southwestern Spring Rolls. These are 100% vegetarian with spinach, corn, black beans, red bell pepper, jalapeños, mixed cheeses, a southwest seasoning and served with guacamole ranch. Flavorful, crunchy, and a hint of spice will have you reaching for a second or third!
An American café needs a staple dish and you won’t find a better one than the Hard Rock Guiness and Jameson burger. A one of a kind creation topped with Guiness cheese sauce and Jameson bacon jam! One word…YUM! You have no idea what you’re missing until you’ve had this burger!
What’s better than Mac-n-Cheese? How about a Twisted Mac, Chicken, and Cheese? Cavatappi macaroni tossed in a three-cheese sauce with roasted red peppers, juicy grilled chicken, and topped with parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and parsley. This hearty medley of southern cooking will remind you of those family meals in your childhood home!
I don’t think there’s anything more comforting than apple pie and Hard Rock Café has found a way to elevate this traditional dessert. The Fresh Apple Cobbler takes thick, succulent apples and blends them with spices until golden brown. Served warm with vanilla ice cream then topped with walnuts and Ghirardelli caramel sauce. I must say, I’m not a huge apple pie/cobbler fan, however, this blew my mind! I would absolutely order this time and time again! Definitely a must try!
Be sure to check out Hard Rock Café’s website for a list of events and specials!
I received dinner in exchange for my review. All opinions in this post are mine.
