After our stellar day sipping cocktails at Relativity Bar & Pool and some much-needed sleep after dinner, we woke up refreshed and excited to experience the final part our Lorenzo escape! It was time for brunch!
I’m a firm believer that brunch is the most important meal of the week! Now I can say with certainty that The Lorenzo feels the same way!
Our meal started off with an individual Vanilla Yogurt Parfait. I’ve never gotten overly excited about yogurt but this was actually pretty amazing! Sweet, creamy yogurt topped with homemade Granola and tons of mixed berries! I just about licked the bowl clean!
Waffles are always a go-to of mine and the Belgian Waffles here did not disappoint. Served with fresh berries and whipped cream and Maple Syrup (duh)!
One dish in particular I was super pumped to try was the Country Biscuit Bowl There’s nothing more comforting than biscuits and gravy and The Lorenzo has found a way to elevate this down home favorite. Add two eggs, any way you like, sausage, and a potato hash. Mmmmmmmm!
And finally we just had to try the Sunny Side Pimento Toast. Why? Well because we had never seen it on a menu before! Are you intrigued yet? Two sunny side up eggs atop smoked ham, pimento cheese, brioche toast serves with breakfast potatoes. Yes, it tastes as good as it looks!
So that’s a wrap on my fantastic time at the modern, luxurious hotel that is The Lorenzo! Whether you’re looking for the perfect staycation or planning on visiting Dallas, this property literally has it all!
